Common Questions
The most common questions we hear and want to help answer.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We do accept all insurance, but we are only in-network with Ameritas, Best Life and Health, and Metlife (PDP Plus Plan). We can send a pre-authorization if you are curious what they will cover. Complimentary! Typically we expect between 50-100% coverage depending on what procedure you have done. See below "what to expect my first visit".
Is there a warranty?
Yes! We want you to feel comfortable and know that we care about your dental work and longevity. If any work we do breaks or falls out (clenching/grinding/bonding issue), we will fix it for free up to 5 years after. This includes crowns and fillings.
What should I expect my first visit?
Your first visit we will have you fill out patient paperwork including insurance information and health history. We will take x-rays if needed and the dentist will discuss concerns and do a thorough head/neck exam. At the end, we will talk about treatment plans, costs, and financing options. If interested in a cleaning, we are doing same day cleanings with new patient exams. For this appointment, if you do have insurance, but you are out of network, we will charge you 149 upfront but that will be the max amount you will pay even if your insurance doesn't cover everything.
Will you see emergencies?
Yes! We know how frustrating it can be to have a tooth break or have constant pain and be unable to get you in quickly. We strive to get you in the same day you call even if we have never seen you.
What if I haven't been to the dentist in several years?
We know that life gets crazy and priorities can be shifted to other things. We want you to feel comfortable and we strive to have an office that focuses on kindness and no judgment. Whatever shape your teeth are in, we will not judge you. We just want to help and figure out what is best for you and your oral health.
At what age should I bring my child in?
We recommend to bring your child in by age 1. This may seem early, but we baby teeth start coming in during their first year of life. We want to make sure we address their oral health and catch cavities early.
What if I don't have insurance?
We understand that it is scary not knowing prices and having to pay out of pocket. Right now, if you have no insurance we are offering new patient exams, all x-rays, and general cleaning for $249 (this does not include deep cleanings).
I have to cancel, what do I do?
What if I can't afford treatment? Do you have payment plans?
We understand that things come up. All we ask is to call or text giving at least 24 hour notice. If you are sick the same day as your appointment, please call in the morning to notify us. We do have a cancellation policy that we will give patients after two consecutive cancellations.
We understand that Bozeman is expensive and we want to help. We run promotions and offer deals throughout the year to lower cost of treatment. We do require payment same day of treatment for bigger procedures including crowns, fillings, etc., but we still will bill your insurance to help you get reimbursed. We also work with third party options including Cherry and Care Credit which helps finance health care treatments. Call to ask for more info.
